Both routes offer unique experiences. The Shimla route is better for gradual acclimatization as it ascends more slowly. The Manali route is shorter but goes through higher passes immediately. First-time visitors often prefer the Shimla route, while those short on time prefer Manali.
These are moderate-level tours suitable for anyone in good health. While we travel by vehicle most of the time, the high altitude (up to 4,590m) can be challenging. We recommend consulting your doctor if you have heart or lung conditions.
We use comfortable, well-maintained SUVs or tempo travelers depending on group size. All vehicles are equipped with first aid kits and experienced drivers familiar with Himalayan roads.
We stay in clean, comfortable hotels and guesthouses with attached bathrooms. In remote areas like Kaza and Tabo, accommodations are basic but the best available. All rooms are on twin/triple sharing basis unless you upgrade to single occupancy.
Essentials include warm layers (even in summer), comfortable trekking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen (SPF 50+), personal medications, power bank (charging may be limited), and a reusable water bottle. We send a detailed packing list after booking.
