This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which you may cancel a booking and the conditions for refunds. By booking with us, you agree to this policy, which is part of our Terms and Conditions. All cancellations must be communicated via WhatsApp, email, or phone, as specified in the booking confirmation.
User Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your tour, the following refund terms apply, based on the timing of your cancellation request:
- More than 15 days before tour start date: 100% refund of the paid amount.
- 15 days or less before tour start date: 70% refund of the paid amount (30% will be deducted).
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via WhatsApp (+91 973628518) or email (sales@wondringhimalaya.com). The date of receipt determines the applicable refund tier.
Company Cancellation Policy
The Wondring Himalaya may cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Extreme weather conditions (e.g., heavy snowfall, landslides).
- Safety concerns (e.g., road closures, political unrest).
- Insufficient bookings to operate the tour.
In such cases, you will be offered:
- A full refund of all amounts paid, processed within 14 business days.
- An option to reschedule the tour at no additional cost, subject to availability.
We are not liable for additional costs incurred by you (e.g., flights, accommodation, or other travel expenses) due to company-initiated cancellations.
Refund Process
Refunds for eligible cancellations are processed as follows:
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 business days of approving the cancellation request.
- You will receive a confirmation of the refund amount and processing timeline via WhatsApp or email.
Please ensure your payment details are accurate to avoid delays.
Exceptions and Special Circumstances
In exceptional cases (e.g., medical emergencies, documented with proof), we may offer partial refunds or rescheduling options at our discretion, even if the standard policy does not apply. Contact us promptly to discuss such cases. No refunds or rescheduling are provided for:
- Missed tours due to your failure to arrive on time.
- Changes in personal plans or preferences.
- Failure to obtain required permits or documentation.
